Beyond Response - Responding to a Clickbank Payment Notification

 

  1. Create a new filter, and give it a title that somehow reflects what you are doing. EG: CB_1

  2. For your opt-in rules, you MUST follow this guideline:
    "
    From = do_not_reply@clickbank.com" AND
    "Subject has CB Sale: PRODUCT"
    * Replace PRODUCT with correct info.
    ** You can also add things from the body of the email to make it hard to spoof.

  3. You can ignore the opt-in redirect. That only pertains to actual Opt-In forms.

  4. Set your Display Name to something that represents the product that you sold, or "CLICKBANK PRODUCTNAME"

  5. For the To Name, you are going to use an extracted Personalized Message Field, so put ~~~name~~~.
    * ~~~ is what I use for my field delimiter. You can use something else.

  6. Click the Personalized Message Fields tab. In addition to Name and Email, we are going to add the following:

    Field Name Field Caption Active
    email Email Yes
    name Name Yes
    order Order Yes

    Your Personalized Message Fields tab should look like this:


     

  7. Click the Extract Keywords tab. We are going to add the following to extract the appropriate data from the incoming email:

    Find Extract Until Apply to PMF Active
    CUSTOMER INFORMATION/n/n /n Name (name) Yes
    Email: /n Email Address (email) Yes
    Order Number: /n Order (order) Yes

    Your Extract Keywords tab should look like this:    

There you have it! Now you can create your Clickbank thank-you email, and back-end upsell emails that you can send to your already paying customers!
